When they're both standard and then when they're both (mapped).

Ever since the 335D was crowned ruler of the earth, i wondered if a 335i could slay it like the torque behemoth it is(n't)

In any case I am going to say the 335 in standard form and in (mapped)™ form. Though I dare say a (mapped)™ 335d would beat a standard 335. Maybe.

My 335d when stock did a 13.9@101.5mph, my mates LSD equipped 335i did 13.7@103mph so faster yes. In a rolling start there equal.

My other friends 400bhp 335i vert did a 13.4@105mph

My mapped 335d has done a 13.3@105mph.

So, what we can see is that a (mapped) 335D is faster than a 400bhp car.

Anybody surprised?

Incidentally, I heard that if two 335D's (mapped) have a tug of war with an unbreakable rope the world reboots itself? Is this true?

How can the speeds be the same but the times different?

Are straight lines all you can cope with? I would imagine that monumental torque would be a nightmare round some bends. Or are you one of those people that holds me up on B roads?

Personally i love corners. Track dayed the diesel and she was quick. Grew up kart racing also.
