What were the standard spec's for SEAC's, specifically the 450?

Have been reading 'TVR, The Complete Story' (except it only goes up to the mid '90's) by John Tipler.

It states that only 3 450 SEACs had power steering fitted? Is this the case? Just wondered if accurate or not.

Ps: Mine is fitted with power steering.

What about aircon? Mine doesn't, but i think Rev's does.

Just curious. smile

No ripples...that i've found. As far as i know only a few 420's had kevlar panelling?? Quite happy to be corrected.
I'm going to do some chassis painting soon so will have a good look at what bits it has.

Your right about needing/wanting to drive more, but the weathers cac, plus i have stacks of work..frown

Less time on Ph's Paul yikes Nope, i'd have to do some work then! wink

Wayne - are you sure yours is a real one .. and not a re-bodied 400 SE hehe

Seriously - mine did have A/C .. not now though.

The spec sheet is a card from TVR with the spec on it .. they ocassionally come up on Ebay - not sure if there is one on the SEAC pages.

Yes and so it should considering what the rev has done.

This is TVR not Ford. As long as TVR could build it then they would so almost anything that you could think of; I don't think that you'll find 660 or racer options on any spec sheet.

True - looking forward to seeing & hearing it!

Alan are you going to put an article together for sprint/wedgepages/SEAC pages?
Looking to get my engine rolling roaded once i'm confident she's fully run in. Even at 450 it's enough for me - you're just being greedy hehe

Top effort. thumbup

one of the Tuscans Racers with a 5.0 RV8 with rover heads is getting 350 BHP. at the fly.
It's a very sorted engine. but you should easy be able to top that with your heads and another 300cc

Plus in the series the BHP is checked so it not a TVR BHP number wink lots of std 500's have made 300 BHP on the dyno, so it's not out of the question.
