ADVICE ON A NEW PURCHASE

Hi guys
Need your helpful advice, im looking to replace my range rover sport and X5 M SPORT 3.0 D taken my fancy. Got a test drive booked so see how it goes.

Just want any helpful advice from owners or anyone else really interms of what options are a MUST for resale, what do current or previous owners think of them, what are they look holding there value etc.

Seems to be a few around on autotader, so looking at the used option.

What year X5 is it you are looking at? The current model or the previous?

In my opinion I would say must haves are the Media Pack, Xenons and a good strong metallic. I have also heard that the panoramic roof option is becoming quite popular on cars now. Possibly the 7-seat option too?

Cool, what is this model like on holding its value, to be honest never owned any BMW before.

A new model lists at £46,090, the sd a couple of grand more. BMW dealers are selling them from £38k ish and thats not always a standard model. Take a look on the website for a better idea.

As for holding their value who knows what the future holds. Although IMO stuff like this has and will continue to suffer in the second hand market.
