It does have a "fully fitted eat-in kitchen" so £25k isn't too bad.

£25K a week though!!!! what is that before tax!!

There must be a loop hole in the tax system to justify £100K a month on rent over A mortgage???

Perhaps for bringing in someone with an entourage.
Big film/music star.
Member of foreign royal family or similar?

More money than I could ever dream of having though.

Hence the emphasis was on 'obscene'. Multi million pound contracts and bonuses aren't unheard of in the city, even in the current climate.

I hope it's nice inside because it looks fairly average outside.

Just around the corner from my office. Places like that simply never come on the market to purchase, so no real idea what it would be worth, without stabbing in the dark.

Judging by the number of Veyrons, SLRs, Murcielagos etc currentyl about on Arab plates, there's quite a few people knocking around that could afford it at the moment!

Could this be a typo on the price?

Seems more likely to be 2,500 GBP a week, surely?

At a rough guess as there aren't many details on there, I'd say anywhere from £10-40 million. Definitely tens of millions as it's Mayfair.

Crazy. Utterly, totally, not-on-the-same-bloody-planet crazy. That's actually the value of my house, every month.
