working a 9-5, getting drunk at the weekend and then settling down/kids/house etc later on?!?!?!?

My current goals are: keep my current job for at least a year(payrise in a month!!) to get my cv up to scratch, learn portugese, buy a new car, work some more, work/travel in brazil for a month and then??????

Ive been invited to play for a football team by a work collegue and ive met a few choice women recently.

I have no inspiration at the moment to produce any music or even record a dj set. I'm not moaning by any means and have got it pretty good at the moment but i still feel like crap everyday(i feel like this even if i havent been on the sauce).

Give me some endorphins dammit!

So gents, give me some suggestions to make me feel good.

Ta

Much more than 9-5.

So much so that after a year (to the day) of working the 9-5 thing i want to scream and do something a bit more interesting.

My friend, I am in the same position. I cant make sense of it all, it all seems so useless. There has to be something more than this. There just has to be, if not, I am not sure I can go on, or want to rather. But I thnik not knowing the answer to my question may be the only thing that keeps me alive, I fear that knowing the answer will put me over the edge. So I ignore it.

I read an article the other day that said a man goes through his second identity crisis in his mid to late twenties. And all seems pointless, hopeless and lost.

If that is true, I couldnt agree more!

yes, get a Polish GF, ask her to move in. Then ask the Russian lass next door to help move the furniture around and with a little bit of luck on your part life will take on an unexpected and pleasurable journey into unplumbed depths ...

Buy a motorbike with at least 100bhp. After that it will all feel fine.

Wife nagging at you? Go out for a thrash on the bike. Crap day at work? Go out for a thrash on the bike. If this becomes boring, upgrade to an even faster bike

In all honesty, a good sports car purchase usually makes me happy for a few months. There is nothing more soothing than a ride up this place called Bear Mountain by me, the top has an unforgettable view.

This is why damnit I will buy an Esprit.

Stop working 9-5. Instead, work 7am-9pm Mon-Sun and then you won't have time to think about anything else. thumbup

If you are very young you'll need to work much more than 9-5 to afford to buy a house. Forget about having kids as you wont be able to afford them until you are at least 40 either.

You will probably have to work until you are 70 before you can afford to retire. Even then you probably won't own your own home.

You best hope you don't discover the answer to that question, because the rest of your life will be a living hell if you do.
