thoughts on the Forester Diesel please chaps

Folks, I have been looking at the Forester Diesel as a potential work wagon... looks like an interesting proposition... a few questions though:

- is it likely that the engine will be tunable (and maintain reliability)? 150bhp is a little bit light in a car of that size/type imo.

- the thing looks hugely under-wheeled imho. I'm not one to go for 22" spinners or anything, but even the 17s look like buttons under a house, judging from the pics I've seen. How important is keeping the rolling radius constant if you wished to upgrade to bigger rims?
