First merc, couple of issues

Bought my very first Mercedes at the weekend, its a 52 plate C200 Kompressor Avantgarde estate.
All seems good aside from a couple of little issues. Just wondering if theres a quick fix for them.
Parking brake - when its release the dashboard doesnt always know it so the light stays on and it pings at you if you drive away, have to reapply and release it a few times to clear this usually.
Stereo - has the bose audio in, sometimes when i start the car it plays the CD or whatever but the amp is off, so no sound, turning the radio off then on again sorts it but its quite annoying.
Anyone know any quick ways to sort these out?
