I tend to ignore the commercial aspect of it all now, and focus on the people that matter to me. I laugh at people chasing around the shops in December on a mission with half a dozen bags under their arms. It's not right!

Get it right.

It's not Christmas until your ears prick up to the TV singing

"Holidays are coming... Holidays are coming... 'Tis the season, watch out! Look around! COCA COLA IS COOOOOMING TO TOOOOWN!!!"

...That's how I gauge it anyway.

But yes; my work place has started ringing businesses to advertise christmas stuff on search engine banners, apparently this time of year is where business-christmas starts; sad, isn't it?

We were forced to keep 5 days of our annual entitlement aside for Xmas. That sucks a bit.

Still, we'll get the usual hamper - bottle of cheap plonk, cracker, Not-actually-Terry's chocolate orange and an Xmas pudding. Nice.
