Curiosity really, but does anyone know anything about these two F355s under 30k?!

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/FERRARI+F355/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-160-240-4294963992-4294967092/search.action?&sort=p_VehiclePrice&postcode=po4+8nz&radius=1500&showMoreOptions=&page=1

Why are they so cheap?! Surely these beautiful cars cant drop much more?!

Any chance of getting a half decent one in the next 12 months for around 35k?

Have done a fair bit of reading and research including The355.com buyer's guide. Just interested to hear a few views?

It would be a dream come true for me and is within touching distance (I get the impression from some of the threads I've read it will be the best thing I've ever done)!

Cheers guys (& girls). biggrin

I think the best advice is you really do get what you pay for. All that happens is you think you have a bargain until those bills start rolling in. The gems are anywhere from low 40 to 50. Good luck in what car you get. I can say from owning a 355 that it is the most amazing car.

I'll second that, in the words of Jezza Clarkson, they are the 'best car in the world...... ever!'

I think I'd be damned cautious and rather spend the extra to get one I know is good.
I'll be in the market for a 355 in the spring (my TVR is being sold soon) and will be looking at cars around the 40k mark.

Seems I may be in for a bit of a search though to find a good one after reading many of the stories on here!

Should be a darn sight easier than finding a Tiv that doesn't blow up hehe

Remember asking prices are not selling prices.

There is no reason why you shouldnt be able to get a really good 355 in the winter for £35000. There is potential that you will be able to steal one for even less, especially if economy continues along its current path!

Theres always one. S6 maybe - I'll be coming from the tried and tested RV8.

TBH I'm scared how much a 355 engine can be pushed to in terms of mileage etc... But I found the best solution to that will be to say bugger it & worry about it if it happens.

Well when looking for mine I found there is a massive difference between "mileage" and the numbers on the spedo of many cars !!!

I looked at 20+ and have to say that at least 10+ had probably been clocked, speedo disconneced or had a switch fitted.

Just buy on condition, condition ,condition and get a good inspection I suspect that many 355's have done 50k miles with no issues so I really wouldnt worry too much
