Interview for first "grown up" job tomorrow
Discussion
I've got my first ever interview for a "grown up" job tomorrow, Fundraising Assistant for a cancer charity (organising volunteers, inducting newbies, general office dogsbody).
I have to give a presentation, they sent me the slides and what they want me to say for it so I'm learning all that. Then there's an interview.
I've had quite a few interviews for jobs while a student and with all but one I got the job (the one I didn't get was because my hours didn't fit in with the ones they needed), but I'm still quite nervous.
So, interview tips anyone?

Practise the answers to stupid-arse questions like "where do you see yourself in x years?", "what are your strengths/weaknesses?"
Also for the presentation, speak slowly and tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them it, then tell them what you've told them. Oh, and don't forget to speak slowly...

Top tip:
I wouldnt list the name of the company till after I had the job.
I know some people at that company (which is what made me think of it). If we had had our differences on the forum (we havent) and I was some sort of piss-ant keyboard warrior with nothing better to do (only half true), I could point someone there to your posting history. Which gives them an awful lot to judge you by aside from your interview performance.
Having said that, I spose it could work in your favour if someone hee you get on well with, works there.
It all sounds very tinfoil hat, but have a look at the "Fronting Bint Thread" if you think it couldnt happen.
Good luck by the way and I reckon above all, be enthusiastic. If youre organising voulenteers for charidee, youll need to show you have boundless enthusiasm and patience.

For the presentation: It's worth repeating, s-p-e-a-k s-l-o-w-l-y and loudly. What seems too slow to you will sound about right. Try to avoid sub-concious, nervous gestures like scratching your nose.

308mate- Thank you, post editted accordingly, and may I say you're wearing a lovely shirt today
Puggit- Strengths- Sarcasm. Weakness- Sarcasm. Thank you for reminding me of that! I've never been asked those sorts of questions before but I have heard they can be common.
Jaz- Like AndyBe said, it's because I'll be doing a lot of these presentations to potential volunteers so they want to see that I can persuade people to join.
Alex- I think I'll have to write that on my hand, I can talk quite fast when nervous.
Maix- Yep, was looking at their website last night and looking up some of their current clinical trials.
Phill- That'll be difficult since I'm a woman and the two interviewers are women, but I'll try to not say I'll be doing their blokes.
Thanks for the help guys!

They seem to be giving you a bit of a head start here! The best thing I could advise about going to an interview is to know everything you can about the organisation, and be very positive about what you can do for them.I have to give a presentation, they sent me the slides and what they want me to say for it so I'm learning all that. Then there's an interview.

When delivering the presentation, look one of the people in the room directly in the eyes and direct a sentence or two to them, then look at another person in the eyes and deliver the next bit.
Choose people at the back of the room to do this, that way you'll unconsciously raise your voice so they can comfortably hear you and so can everyone else.
