Annoyingly, I can't take credit for this spot - that honour goes to the Mole.

But, Bernie's been in China 'for the Olympic Cycling' this week and, it's hard to deny that the ring road around the Velodrome at which the cycling takes place looks suspiciously like a racing circuit, does it not? It's also about three miles long, has what looks like a paddock and plenty of run off...

Interesting, I wonder how wide the track is... China would benefit from a street race far more than its existing remote track.

It looks to be pretty wide. If you look for the mountain bike venue in google maps you can zoom in.

IIRC the road on the top of the pic posted above appeared to be multi-lane highway (if this aids in scale?)
