Tam Roof Recover

I had the roof in the boot of the Tam and one of the cans of the stuff you fill your tyres up with if you get a puncture leaked all over it. Anyway, I have a big stain of the roof that won't come out and have been quoted £600 + VAT to recover the roof and the back bit (it won't match with the rest of the car if i just do the roof). Has anyone ever had to recover the roof before and if so what did they pay? I have been quoted £600 + VAT which seems a bit steep. Any suggestions

I'd pay for just the bit need covering and then go over both sections with some renovo - that ought to match up the colours between the 2 pannels providing they arn't miles out to begin with.

£600 +VAT for the whole roof isn't too far away but I'd agree with the poster above. ^^^^^^
