Anyone know where you can get some nice exhuast tips from smile

Currently just have straight dual exit 3" pipes on each side without tips but fancy something that fills the VXR rear valance a bit better.

Local company (Meercat Exhausts www.meercat-exhausts.com/) made these straight through rears up for me. 6"x4" slashed oval tips

Be careful when cleaning your car. You've rubbed all the letters off your number plate.

Yeah something like that biggrin. Need to find a local company like them (Sussex). The main issue i've got is the exits at the moment aren't centered in the valance cut-outs. So off the shelf tips won't fit right.

My exhaust came with tips mate. Looks like they need welding on though.

Pipecraft in essex make custom exhausts and tips, they were very good. We wanted a bit more noise but not as loud as the Wortec due to close neighbours and early morning starts.

I got some with mine also but they won't fit due to the pipes not being centred. Plus they look sh*t. Asked for dual tips (which I prefer, sorry wortec boys) but they have nasty looking rolled ends, and ideally they could do with being staggered on the 'ro. Thought about taking a hack-saw to them to see if I could make anything out of them. Figured it might also be interesting to get some straight through back boxes made up with nice tips as another option.

You went with ovals didn't you? Have you got it all fitted yet?

May have to look them up. What did you get made up? Just back-boxes or centre section too?

Took out a silencer and put on a back box with tips. Single larger tip each side. Will try to dig out a pic. Sound is not as loud as the Wortec but a bit more day to day practical and was under £400. They do all kind of exhausts - they do a lot of american V8 stuff and will custom build what you want.

Thats kinda what i've got at the mo, except less shiny (matt black to be precise).

I actually don't mind 'that' much how it looks at the moment but wanted to look at the options.

Looks good though. Thanks for digging up the picture.

Pic posted is not the best angle - they take up about 80-90 % of the 'gap' and are only a bit smaller then the wortec tips. Similar in size to the other one posted further up just slightly smaller.

Have a look at Jetex-www.jetex.co.uk

I've just had some bits and pieces from them and their service is excellent. Don't know if they have what you want though?

I have used longlife and they were ok, they sell tips you can get welded on but you might be as well looking for some clamp ons

I have a Miltek which hsa a clamp on so I canchange style if I want

Ideally I'd prefer clamp-ons. The issue is still the offset in the gap, so probably have to get some clamp-ons with an adaptor to adjust the angle....again custom work frown
