Have we hit the magic 600BHP
Discussion
Had an early start Tuesday morning (3 AM) and drove over to see Andre (Avos) to get my little power loss problem sorted.
Sorted we did, and then we took the old girl to the Rolling Road.
After allowing for a %age power loss through the transmission we ended up with a flywheel power of 602 BHP.
This is the same %age that Jaguar use from their 370BHP to the actual rwhp.
Having sorted the power loss we now know how to free up even more horses, so watch this space.
The 'Twin Screw Supercharger' is something, the trip home just flew.
This is Rear Wheel Power and Engine Torque in Nm

The Mercedes box is a very strong unit, though I would not recommend using this amount power constantly without strengthening the box obviously (which we can do).
Not sure what % drive train loss to use, and also if one chooses a % methodology, that will also differ per dyno type. A single drum per wheel dyno has a bit less resistant than a dual drum dyno. We done the dyno on a single drum dyno, as these are the only ones providing the most true rear wheel hp figures.
Some more info can be read here:

There I showed some different % drive train losses, and it doesn’t matter which you choose, the numbers stay mindboggling imho.
Andre.
