He put up a bit of a fuss though when they told him he'd be flying on a 12 year old Boeing 747, he is quoted as saying "fk off, I'm not getting in anything that old!"

What is the worst thing about being Gary Glitter?
You have to go to bed before 7.00.

How do you know when it is bedtime at the Glitter residence?
When the big hand touches the small hand.

Simpers. That is really is only "sort of" funny. Blurgh! I have empathy for the sick old fk only that I think if be can afford to live a quiet, monk's life somewhere praying for the forgiveness of his sins he should be allowed that. T'otherwise - just let's get it over with and do him in.

Yeah, let's all just set upon and beat him to death. Lord of the Flies and all that. Kill, maim, destroy. Bloodlust. Pin him down and punch him in the face until your knuckles bleed. Feel his cheekbones crack under your furious assault. Yes, that feels better isn't it? If the mob thinks it's OK then it must be. Then when the deed is done and the victims lie dead maybe you'll look at the lacerated bodies and the blood on your hands and think that maybe things got out of control, and congratulations, you're back in the Stone Age.
