On the way home today my analogue speedo started jumping all over the place, and then occasionally settling at completely the wrong speed while on the motorway. The LCD readout and Interceptor gauges were fine.

I've seen the other thread about this implying that there is a simple fix for this. Is this something that Monkfish can do (Roger?) or would this need to go to Vauxhall? Maybe DIY? I'm out of warranty. Also I had the Focus Pac done about 2 weeks ago, but I guess this is unrelated.

Any input welcomed - I'm hoping the car will have just "forgotten" about this tendency when I go to work tomorrow.

Don't panic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine does this every now and again, just ignore it and take delight at doing 200mph in a thirty limit !!

Seems to reset itself if you stop and turn off ignition then re - start

A known fault fixed under warranty. Take it to your dealer for replacement. It won't fix itself!

though apparently you can fix it with a soldering iron if you find the right area, someone did say its only down to a dry joint and easily remedied.
