I went for a quick drive in the SEAC earlier, but just before leaving i checked the engine.. oil etc to make sure all levels were good.

Anyway, i could smell petrol..it was coming from the black pipe that connects the fuel bar to the rear n/s injector! Then i noticed the puddle of fuel sitting in the vee!
The jubilee clip was really loose. So i checked the rest and 2 others were finger tight as well! yikes

What could have been... frown

Good spot..

Why not also check the rubber fuel lines at the rear at the weekend.. bend the rubber pipes and look for cracks.

Might be another job for TVR Barnet..

Also worth doing the same with any fan belts.. could save a break down.

Recently did the belts for the hell of it, they were rather tired. Worth popping around the engine bay and checking hoses etc on a regular basis.

Anyone know the part no for the Wedge fanbelt

I thought I would get a spare and keep it in the boot
especially after being with Taff_o on the way back from BBWF08
and his snapped.

Thanks

Richard

Same thing happen to me last year.
Hose came completely off though and I have a big trail of fuel behind me, after stopping I push it a bit so I had a break in the fuel trail.
