Bit of a weird one this. Someone I know has been left a fairly tidy sum in a will, but this is in an 'opus fund' rather than bank account.

I've never heard of that if it's a type of account.

There are a couple of funds on the market with Opus in their name, CF Odey Opus Fund which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and Opus Fund Limited which isn't listed anywhere. They don't appear to have anything to do with each other. Sounds like your acquaintance needs to get some more information.

Sadly, that won't be the case.

Shady - maybe an opus 2. Not too sure, I did try googling financial 'opus' stuff but nothing came out.

On a serious note, I've check Bloomberg and the only references to OPUS are actually in the name of funds, not a type. It's shows 48 different results, so if you have a few more details we might be able to track it down.
