Morning all, been thinking about a wedge for a while now but not yet managed to sit in one. I'm around 6'3, will I be too tall as I am for Honda's S2000?

Cheers

You should have no problem at all

I can quite comfortable pilot a Wedge (350) at 6'3" and 22+ stone

I'm not a round build either, former strongman type and the only problem I find, is my right arm being pressed against the drivers doorcard!

My left leg seems slightly squashed in the SE's with the revised dashboards, but I'm sure I could see past that.....

As Clarkson used to say "I can get in any car I WANT to get into"

Saw Roger a few months ago at The Yorkshire and Humberside Meet

From memory he is 6 foot 7" and although his back is better after
his motorcycle accident, he has had a few blackouts so cannot drive
and so has been travelling the world I beleive in the meantime.

I'm just about 6ft and the sun visors are just fine in my 280i I either keep them against the screen (if its bright) or pointing up and have never had a problem.

Even with the roof up (against the rules I know!) I still have bags of head room and my seat will still go back at least another 2 "clicks".

Definately no problem driving a wedge if your tall. You'd have to be way past Mr Clarkson's height to have any of that type of issues. I.e if your Britains tallest man you may struggle but then he doen't fit in many cars.

Nice pic Wyn. You can just see me (and my belly!) poking out behind Roger. Sexy Simon on the left backed with Hamish and a couple of our Dutch friends if I an not mistaken!.

I am just a short fat dude and I fit in fine. Also if you get fed up with hitting you're right arm on the door card you could always get a SEAC!

Areed Graham , '7's are not comortable although the wider models now are better but they aren't really ' proper ' . Wedges are like Rolls Royces compared to many sports cars , as long as you don't mind ' the noise ' !

Hi all.

Back is much improved, I'm off backpacking in spain with my ladyfriend in october. Got my license restored too, so I'll be back on the scene after I've scraped the rust off the wedge discs next spring.

Meantime I've landed a nice fat engineering contract which should last a few years, so I will hopefully make next year's wedgefest, assuming there is one.

smile

Back on topic, I find the sunvisors are fine, and nicely push the wind over my head with the top down. I did fit some chimaera seats though, which seem slightly lower than the original wedge seats, by about an inch.
