Best internet/phone/tv provider?

After countless complaints to ntl/virgin media, and dealing with semi evolved telephone staff, I have finally had a gut full.

Can the PH massive recommend a decent provider please? BT? I'm in Herts, so not sure if all the providers fall under my region.

Any help greatly appreciated.

mad as a fish has been very good - you can actual call them and speak to someone in the UK .

I always recommend Waitrose as an isp for a few simple reasons

1) Calls to their support line are on a free 0800 number.
2) They donate all profits to charity - only UK isp to do this I think.
3) Pretty reliable service, and respond well to issues such as broken router etc.

Note this is from a few years ago, it might be worth looking to check the above is still true.

You have four choices;

[1] Virgin
[2] Sky
[3] Freeview/Freesat (sort your own broadband]
[4] BT

Never had an issue with Sky TV but have heard that Sky Broadband are the same as all the rest, i.e. Ok until something goes wrong.

I heard someone mention EuroVox 2008 is a good solution
