...sitting in my local Audi dealership today waiting for my car and looked out the window at this A6. Hmm, is that an A6 Le Mans? Or is it an A6 Avant S-Line? Maybe its a new S6 Avant? It was in silver.

Curiosity got the better of me so I got off my fat 'arris and went outside for a closer inspection.

Turned out to be their new RS6 demonstrator, which quite frankly, left me rather underwhelmed!

Fast it may be, but not much of a 'looker'

Still asked them to sort me out a test drive though evil

I disagree,

I saw one at Munich airport just after the launch - i found it agressively sutble... perfect for what it is!

That must be an oxymoron, shirely wink

Harry M's evo car looks better in the blue (from the photos), but it looked boring in silver (and I drive a silver Audi, so I should know!)

I, personally, dont get the whole Q Car thing.

some people want a sutble car that is capable of going very very fast...

Its where the whole M5/RS6 market came from... and while BMW have abandoned it, Audi are sticking with it...

Saw 'Papaya Orange' on Audi's colour chart today. That would look, err, intersting hehe

Now there's a word you don't see very often :-) Sounds like a spot cream for morons.

Anyway, agreed. The RS6 is a very underwhelming car to look at, but it's what most of this car's target audience want.

I think it looks very butch, but the tyres look almost balloon like.

The one Evo had was almost 100hp shy of Audi's claim, plus the R8 it was put up against was also down on power......but in another article I read, it was hinted the RS6 engine is hardly even trying in standard trim. I think there's an easy 650+ hiding under the bonnet, but Audi won't release it until until the next model, or face lifted "evo" version perhaps.
