Harewood Summer Championship - TVR Speed Championship

Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I thought I would post a heads up, to let people know that tomorrow, at Harewood Hillclimb, it is the Summer Championship which also includes the entrants from the TVR Speed Championship.

A good mix of road going hatch & saloons, coupes and sports cars, single seaters, F3000 types, classic racers, hillclimb specials and alsorts of bike engined machines will be fighting to get the best times possible up the notorious hill.

As usual, I will be there with my camera, sporting my press pass and a couple of friends will be heading up there also, so maybe we'll catch up there

Practice runs kick off around 9am with timed runs shortly after

Weather forecast has predicted the occasional shower with sunshine, so bring a hat as it gets warm up there!!

Entrance is £10 which gives entry (of course) parking and paddock access so you can look around the competitors cars and chat to the drivers & crew

For those going up, keep an eye on the usual battle between Karl Jackson in his RC Developments Evo X and Chris Price in the Turbo Technics Sierra XR4X4

Should be.

Might be with my boy, but he's reached the terrible teens now (don't think I ever left ) so it's entirely mood dependent.

Been blasting all over the place today in this strange thing called 'sun'.
