Although beware that some of this publisher's testa can be rather 'uncritical'.

This goes for the whole kit car press, to be honest (I've written for the kit car mags myself and know most of the editors). It's fair to say that they're all pro-kit car and recognise the damage that a critical review can make to a new manufacturer, who as often as not is a fellow enthusiast struggling to develop a car on a minimal budget at the same time as trying to become financially established. The editor of one of the major magazines once told me that if he was confronted with a real death trap, he'd simply decline to review it and tell the manufacturer to come back when it's sorted out, rather than destroy it with a slating in print.
And then there's advertising revenue, of course...
You need to learn to read between the lines on the kit car reviews, therefore. Take any hint of a criticism as an indication that you need to investigate that aspect of the car's performance or construction thoroughly before committing to purchase.
Thanks for the info, can see the testers being uncritical of the cars so hopefully i will speak to people who have built and drove these cars and get there honest opinion
