I hope they never open again, scumball company. My opinion of course and only if all employees can be reemployed elsewhere.

Tesco's store locator should also give you the opening hours, hopefully for the bank holiday! If not, typically bank holiday hours seem to be the same as Sunday opening hours...

Actually for me it`s Tesco for those who don`t have any time to go elsewhere.
I despise the whole thing, shopping, supermarkets etc.fking useless tts standing in the middle of aisles chatting bks to some other miserable tts, screaming kids and that old boy that you seem to bump in to over and over who stinks of piss.
but you can not deny it is convenient to get eggs, nappies and a 42" plasma along with a gallon of engine oil in one shop,I buy as much as I can through this newfangled interwebby thingbiggrin

But the OP only wants a birthday card! 30 seconds in a newsagent or 20 minutes in a busy superstore. Which is the better use of time?

We don't have a local newsagent anymore, it closed down and is now an electrical appliance shop! I did used to try and use it but they never seemed to stock what I wanted. Even when I tried to just buy a newspaper they seemed to have run out!

yep that and the fact that I live next to a business they bought out to build an express they never had planning permission for and will never get and has been left rundown vandalised and overrun with rats ever since.

Depending on the floor size but yes. The little express stores may be open as usual.
