My current 'Minilite' alloy wheels use 'tapered' wheel nuts and locks. I intend to change my alloy wheels to a different set of 'Ultralite' alloy wheels, which also by description take tapered wheel nuts and locks.

Am I simply able to use the tapered wheel nuts that I already have and use them on my new set of alloys?

Anybody else done this?

I wish I knew the answer to this one...there seems to be as many different whell nut seats as there are wheels....I have a set for my Rover 12" a set for my 100+ and I hope these fit my GB's but to be honest neither wheels look like the nuts fit very well and I am thinking of changing the wheels studs to longer ones as the current ones don't poke through the wheel very much.
But thats after the engine sort which happens if I don't sell the thing first.

The only thing to do is check with the wheel makers. I have in the past and found most very helpfull. Its not worth the risk of not knowing for shore. Also check the torqe settings of the nuts. They can change a lot from wheel to wheel.
