best slick/semislick for mtb

as above really, want speed, durability and grip in the wet!

Have seen WTB Slickasaurus, but not sure if they will fit my wheel size, have a Giant Yukon - 26" wheel size.

Continental City Contact Reflex

Maxxis Detonator

Anyone got any of these / suggestions?

I've always been loyal to the Avocet Cross series tires in 26X 1.25- 95 P.S.I....

The inverted tread design is very thick where you would get most punctures and still gives decent performance for the occasional dirt short cut.
