My brothers birthday is coming up, and he has gone through a really rough period recently. So I thought I would be nice and buy his dream watch which a Gold Oyster Day-Date.

New prices are around £12K mark but used are nearly half price! I did a search and found names of some used watch dealers. However many of the watches avaialble seem to be quite old mostly over 10/15 years old! Is this ok? Also is there an official Rolex warranty for used watches, or a reputable aftermarket one?

Many Thanks,

C

How about this lovely number from 1973....those old leather boxes are so much nicer than anything supplied today by Rolex.

Loads of them on here.

They all come with a 12 month warranty.

I just bought an IWC port seven day reserve for my bros bday from watches.co.uk, and they were fantastic to deal with. Your bro is gonna love it.
