Hello fellow PH'ers, we as a family have decided to purchase a new digital camera.

We wish to psend upto £100, which sadly put's us out of the range for Canon SLR's wink

I like to take motorsport/vehicle pictures, clearly not pro just for prosperity, the missus likes to take pictures of our 2 children and her craft products.

I know this isn't theusualPH photographics thread, but I hope the combined knowledge of PH can help!

Thanks Matt biggrin

I'd get a Fuji S5800.

Should be near your budget and produces good results with a half decent range on the lens.

ive got a fuji s5700 that is used as a point and shoot

you can still alter the f stop and shutter speed in manual mode a bit like the SLR and the pics are actually really good, especially macro mode.

deals to be had on them too if you look around wink

(i paid £105 for mine about a year ago)
