I don't get it. What they are saying is, you probably won't like all of them. How can that be goodfor marketing?

I tried it with my carpet cleaning business.

"We will do a rubbish job, and our staff are rude"

Didn't have the same effect however, but they did appreciate our honesty hehe

A pub near us has a sign saying 'Warm Beer, Lousy Food' - it made people go there!

'Shake n'vac' was deliberately annoying (I have inside knowledge) to make it memorable.

If most people don't like coffee why don't they change it?

Because curiosity will make you eat them all to find out. It's different from 'Eat our chocolates, they're brilliant'.

Similar to the Marmite 'love it or hate it' idea I suppose.

I can see your point, but surely they want repeat purchasers and if they think a lot of people don't like a particular one, then why not get rid of it? I might have to buy a packet tomorrow to see which ones I don't like.

By the way, I currently scoffing a packet of Asda Midget Gems, they are really teeth bustingly hard.

You should have used the same tactics the guy who just did my stair carpets used - namely rock up, do a st job, and leave the house stinking of fags. That's my top tip for securing repeat business, by the way hehe

How much do you charge for not turning up? I could do with a bit of that.
