Decided to stick some viper stripes on the exige.

Has anyone done this themselves or does anyone know any pro's that can do this in the North West?

I bought some off ebay for about a tenner but they are a nightmare to fit and after attempting to self fit am not happy with them and have ran out with just the boot lid left.

Pics please

No don't is what I'd say.

Never do "Viper" stripes, unless it's on a Viper.

Cheers Mrbrules,
I think the Exige is one of the few cars that can get away with "Viper" stripes along with the AC Cobra and a few select others without looking at all "Chav".

Bah, why not get some spinners and neons whilst you're at it? wink

Seriously, looks OK but not my cup of tea. I'll see it at the next Norlog meet no doubt.

Any pics of the roof/engine cover? I will need to redo my stripes next week after a new rear clam and any new ideas are welcome.

My cousin was changing an engine somewhere in Bath for one of the directors of the company he works for. He was telling me his son's girlfriend had a brand new Fiesta and he had fitted 'stripes' for her. The 'stripes' were made using silver gaffer tape! hurl

Bit different to mine in that mine follow the shape of the scoop along it's whole length. Looks nice, did you find the vinyl stretched enough to keep a uniform with down the length of the roof or did you use two pieces?

I used 2 pieces hence why i ran out.

I ordered another 4mtr length today for £5 inc p & p should be here tomo.

I really wanted to keep a uniform stripe right the way down the car when viewing from square on at the front and if youve ever tried this you will know that this is near impossible using 1 parallel piece of vinyl due to the curves especially around the roof scoop and down the rear lid.

Problem is that close up you can see the overlaps so i would like to get this done by a pro at some stage.

I figured that for £10 - £15 and few hours of an otherwise eventless bank hol was worth it.
