I was reading some environmentally fired nonsense recently and spotted a paragraph in it about how, quite correctly, emerging economies are raising the price of metals and thus making recycling ever more cost effective; What caught my eye in particular was that apparently computer monitors are now worth £15 as scrap due to the metals they contain. Raised my eyebrows a bit but it did occur that it could quite possibly be plausible. What im wonderin then is - if this is true - and ive got 17 old CRT monitors - how do i convert that into whatever £15 times 17 is?
Or am i deluded??
anyone know?
