Well seen as every other club has one!!

Good win last night at Pompey, very good atmosphere, showing again that our away support is unrivalled.

Vidic and Ferdinand again were classy at the back, Scholes was sublime and man of the match (what England would do for him playing still) Anderson was quality and showed just why he will be so important to us this year, Tevez never stopped battling and his link up play was excellent.

We still look quite rusty but when we get our full team out im sure we will peak at the right time. So far it looks as if Chelsea will be our only rivals again and I expect another very close battle with them.

Next away trip is against the vermin so hopefully we can derail their early season form, though they are due a win against us.

Nemanja Vidic on life in Manchester:

"In England, they say that Manchester is the city of rain. Its main attraction is considered to be the timetable at the railway station, where trains leave for other, less rainy cities."

They can beg all they like, we are the only team who ALWAYS sell out the allocation no matter the game, and have a song book that cant be touched. Im sure as you were tucked up in your london bedsit (sorry designer apartment) watching the game you could heat just how good we were!

as discussed on another thread, we have more season ticket holders within a local radius of the ground than any other premiership club. The fact that we are well supported is due to history, something that as a chelsea fan you will know very little about. I am sure you have not seen all your tours to china and the USA where you have been trying to get extra fans.

Still at least we can sell our ground out every week, despite the fact that its twice the size of yours and stuck up here in rainy manchester, while you struggle to sell all your tickets in the 8 million population london.

Relax, take a look through the other threads on the Sports forums, you'll see they are much the same.

Last time I saw them they clearly hadn't touched the song book.

United? far more songs than any other club and always original, and always imitated, like Liverpool with their Torres song.

And as for your song book, well..."Glory Glory...."

scratchchin...now where did you steal that one from...

hehe

Go on...tell me its a long established Man U song...

biggrin

And you'll find there are 3 teams with a HIGHER percentage of seats sold at home games than Man Utd hehe

Currently:

1. Arsenal (though it pains me to say it)
2. Spurs
3. Portsmouth

Proof here:

You'll find the same is true for previous seasons too.

Kop is a myth, I will say that OT is normally very average atmosphere wise for most games, but then its normally full of day trippers and women.
