Advice Given By BiB - Your Responses - A Plea!
Discussion
I and I'm sure some of the others BiB's out there, get a little disallusioned when advice is asked for in these threads and given freely and as a result we get taken to task over it.
I can live with that no problem, but it goes against the grain not to respond in some cases.
If someone asks for advice about a point of legislation or a question regarding a what if..? scenario, then please consider your responses to the answers given and try to see the wider picture.
The classic example is that of the Speed Oh Dear thread....
I don't have to provide advice neither do the others and as Ted's sticky at the top of this forum suggests we should all be appreciative of the others sides assistance...

Tivster,
As everyone else says: nice car!!!
Secondly, just like to say that I think that other poster (justme) was way out of order. It's guys like you (and TonyRec and madcop and.......) which make this forum work, but it only takes one idiot like that to ruin it for everyone.

i'm relatively new and don't say a lot on here, but certainly appreciate the advice and information the resident bib's impart.
some of the 'law' seems a bit daft or confusing certainly to me, a lot of the speed stuff using measuring devices is so contrary to my engineering training that i 'know' it is wrong. if we built cars with that kind of calibration the doors wouldn't fit.
recent thread on some form of drink driving is a case in point - i still can't get to grip with being in the pub and still in charge of a vehicle.

dose seem bit odd on police wages.
Yeah - I'd like your job outlaw, better wages for the same irregular hours, you get to be your own boss. It's the lengthy residential training sessions you have to endure if you get it wrong that would put me off...
well im retired now.
only got it wroung twice
