Im looking for the wooden surround that goes in the centre console around the switches and the radio.
Also looking for a lock for the glovebox.
Both bits missing on mine.

most cars use a loft latch for the glove box.

For real Leigh?? My loft access has a twiddly white plastic thing, that wouldnt look so good in the tivs cockpit.

leigh is talking about the plastic catch that fastens inside the glovebox. Push to fasten closed - push again to release. does not show in the cockpit!

Yes that's the one. also used on lofts.

Don't make the mistake of using a magnetic latch - the magnet isn't strong enough.

Thanks fellas, I'll drop into B&Q at some point and see what there is.
We used to use something similar, albeit round, on the front panel of 45 and 55 Series Leyland Trucks when I worked there, a catch which you pushed to engage and pushed to release.
