He bought a 5l V8 BMW Z3 coupe and posts mainly on the beemer forum. He wanted something with lots of power and he has that now.

He was an armchair enthusiast. When it came to the crunch he didnt buy a lotus. Kind of lost credibility as any type of enthusiast after that.

what wound me up about him was the way he could start a thread like 'I want a 300Bhp Elise' etc etc, but would never actually do anything to go and look at one when pointed at such a car, then the next week, he would start another thread basically saying the same.

I do not belive he is the sort of person that would ever have bought an Elise, just like to endlessly talk about this and that.
