Am i going to be in trouble

Having a racing green exhaust fitted today but havent told her indoors. I have told her the car is going for some minor repair work as she said I would be a lonely man if it comes back any louder! ooops.

Just tell her there was a problem with the engine, they've fixed it but now it's louder and not your fault, it's how the car should have sounded anyway

I am sure that she will come round eventually

my good lady compalined about my car being noisy

but only two weeks ago she followed me through Hatfield tunnel when we stopped off at South Mimms services she got out of her car all excited about how awesome the car sounded
