We live in a very old house, circa 1600. so can't do wall insulation and loft insulation...what loft? Today we have with great difficulty (all walls are odd shapes, no straight wall) covered our bedroom wall with an insulating wall paper, which we will emulsion to keep the 'look' right. Just wondered if the insulating wall paint was any good. Any PH'S tried this yet?

Would you not be better off creating a small false wall with real insulation where ever there is space to do so, even if it was just using that funny plasterboard backed with insulation?

No, not possible, as floor and ceilings are wobbly too.
