Interesting car - based on 996 but with 911/993 dash. Wonder why they did that then?

Bit of a minger to look at too... (ducks to avoid being clobbered).

Maybe not having Mobil 1 all over it doesn't help either...

If that's a bit rich for your tastes, you could always have one of these instead...

993 Turbo S

Nice cars, but have they really appreciated that much!?!

Having owend a RHD yellow Turbo S I loved every minute. But I cannot remember the insurance company paying me 250k when I put it into a wall on a cold day in November 2001 ?

The advert says 1 of 33 it needs to read 1 of 32 RHD cars ?

OUCH! 993 turbo-s is one of my all time favourite 911s. Tell us all more about it!

By the way, I don't think the GT1 is much of a looker either

I was the second owner and got the car at a steel from a finance repo I will have to dig out the invoice to see what I paid with only 800 miles on the clock.

It was much the same as the car for sale at 250k 450 bhp right-hand drive Yellow 993 Turbo S was built in May 1998. Sports suspension, sun roof, heated Sport seats, CD, tinted windscreen, 3rd brake light, rain sensor, full leather, Sports exhaust, on-board computer, rear wiper, air ducts in front bumper and rear wing, carbon dashboard, GT2 Rear spolier (I had fitted)

The car was just awesome. I will dig out some pictures and post them.

When I hit the wall it had only covered 16000 miles but the heavy passenger side front damage meant it needed a shell so the nice man from St Pauls sent me a cheque for 74k and at the time I thought he had looked after me but if that car gets sold for 250k I will be gutted.

Hi speedy!

Pics would be good! What is your current steed these days?

I would be very surprised if a turbo S fetched more than 100K. I thought that even for the 33, ahem, 32 RHD examples, prices had flatted at around 75k or less with a high milage.

Yes I would be surprised if they got more than 100k but anything can happen ?

My current car is a 996 TT 02 model full spec in black, I also have my old 996 for sale in the classifieds so have a quick look, plus I have a GT3 racecar.

I love Porsche cars but I keep seeing a 360 and I might be tempted to swap brands in the near future ?

I think that Paragon just sold a Turbo `S` in Speed Yellow with 45K on the clock. I dont know how good it was, but I am sure it was nowhere near £100K!

This was it at...

From what I've seen in various dealers/ classifieds etc, expect to pay a premium of about £20K for a 993 Turbo S over an equivalent 993 Turbo. This rough guide excludes ultra low mileage "collectors" examples though.

I've currently got a full spec 996 TT, having had a 360, and although the 996 is a quicker road car I hanker after moving back to the Dancing Donkey camp............infact I've been kindly invited this evening by HR Owen to their launch of the 360 Challenge Stradale
