Hi I'm borrowing a Cooper S Clubman for the weekend and wonder what changes when in Sport mode?

Steering beomes heavier, gear changes more break neck. Bit of a gimick, hence whi it cost 80 quid

Nicer throttle response too- more precise.

I drive in 'sport' all the time, I just prefer it.

I soon know if i've forgotten to put it on, as the accelerator feels so unresponsive, I almost stall it smile

Heard that the computer had a setting to allow the Sport button to default On. Was on another forum & can't find it again - but you could read the manual. Sadly I can't (yet) as my PW Cooper still not delivered frown

Never seen that, though sure I read someone in a American forum developed a wee electroic so it basically pressed the button on a few seconds after starting. Sure it was mini2 that I read about it.
