It's a bit like when someone asks if you can ski - I always reply "I expect so"

Our cleaner's a woman, and she does a fine job. If your o/h can do better at a competitive rate, we're happy to consider him. smile

Well, I do a better job at hoovering... But I can't wash close to save my life (though I am also a far better cook).

In our house it's true, my missus is known as 'Lizzie round windows'.

Mind you, the only reason I do a much better job is because I am OCD biggrin

'Sinbad'.

Took me years to work out why 'Sinbad' was called 'Sinbad' on Brookside.

Not that I ever watched it, obviously.

If they did, they would be, approaching it in a scientific, logical manner, not stopping to talk, and thereby completing the job faster and using less polish biggrin

Dammit, I shouldn't use the Ipod Touch to post, stupid thing has predictive text which changes the word when you hit the space bar...

"Clothes" on my computer, that seems to have worked.

I'm happy to do a bit of light housework, and might even consider some ironing if Mrs JS goes out to work all day....so long as she fetches me a beer and cooks my tea when she gets in. biggrin

I think my OH does it bad deliberately so I don't make a habit of asking him again, his version of cleaning the front room consists of hoovering the rug and then sitting down to watch the rugby hehe

My other half is nifty with a duster, but then he has to be, the place is full of his Airfix type models, and it's more than my life is worth to go near them, so the solution was that he could do the dusting, then if any got broke it wasn't my fault biggrin

He can also fill the sink with washing up and hot water, then walks away 'to let them soak and the water cool a bit' hmmm funny that he always forgets to come back to them!
