Sagaris window

Hi,

If my window is fully up and I press the up button it sounds as though it tries to put the window up futher. Likewise, if it's fully down and I press down it tries to put it down further.
This is the same on both windows. I think its always been like this but shouldn't it know that the window is fully up/down and not try to move it when you press the button ?

I know there is some sort of sensor in the door panel but not sure if this is for up/down detection or for checking if the window is jammed. Anyone know exactly where it is and what it does ?

My Sagaris is in getting a service so I can`t go out and play with the windows but I`m pretty sure even with the windows fully up when I lock the car (it normally closes the windows if they are down) - I will hear the windows 'struggle' a little (i.e. faint rubber creaking) as it tries to up the already up window 'up'.. I`m not sure how long it tries for but its not more than a second or three.

Thats exactly what I mean but I don't recall noticing it before, only these past couple of days.
Seems odd that it doesnt know the window is already up/down.
