Here is the deal

I went to Sydney earlier this year and signed up for some Skydiving.

They took roughly £50 depisot.

The agreed pick up time was 9am. They then emailed me and said they only had a 7am pick up which was unreasonable for me.

We agreed to cancel but the feckers said they would keep $20 of my deposit. I said they should pay it all back.

Anyway, as I was on holdiay I didn;t call my holdiay company etc and wasn;t hassled over the $20.

I then went to Cairns and used the Cairns branch of the same company to Skydive.

Now I have just come back home and realised that the company has not refunded ANY of my £50.

I had fotgotten all about it as it was doen at the start of my holidays and a lot had happened since I got back.

Anyone know how hard it will be to reclaim this money back? I have copies of the email asking for refunds.

The CC company was Morgan Stanley but they have ben taken over my Barclaycard now.

Thanks

To add, I meant call my CC company not the holiday company

The original charge was about 100 dollars which was 50 quid, and they wanted to keep 20 dollars (about 10 quid) - but haven't refunded the 80 dolalrs they said they would

I think that you can just call the CC company and put it in dispute.

No I'm not.
It quickly managed to convince me you are a lowish IQ. And have little ability to cope in a modern world.

The department that deals with such issues is closed on a weekend, fool.

All I wnated to know what what kind of procedure you might have to go through/how much evidence is required.

But we know who the dick is here at least.

They wouldnt need to be in direct communication because I am asking for similar experiences, not exact answers.

1) Call the credit company.
2) Explain the situation - non reciept of goods, goods ordered but not supplied etc.
3) They will put a hold on the charge, and ask you to send in written details, or they will send you a form to complete.
4) They will contact the company who charged you.
5) When they have the facts, they will decide who is right - as the buyer it is almost certainly going to be you.

(This is from similar experience when.)

I thought that only applied to transactions with UK based companies, i.e ones that had agreed to the Banking Code? If it was a legitimate transaction (from a credit card point of view), but the supply or quality of goods from a non-uk supplier is in question, I don't think they'll refund.

Should have taken Rich's advice and actually called the company, as he said, they don't do it for you on here.
