Places to stay in Devon or Dorset on the coast

Hi there,
Looking for somewhere to stay in either Devon or Dorset, we were thinking of something in a fishing village, or something right on the coast,

any suggestions greatly appreciated! We're looking to go in a couple of weeks, just for a few days midweek,

nothing hugely expensive but any previous experiences greatly appreciated

Poole in Dorset is great (when the sun is out) Its a great area.

check out National Trust cottages - they have some at Golden Cap in Dorset which are quite well placed and you may get some bargains at this time of the year

No it's not!! Croyde is lovely, great for surfing.

Nah south devon is the best! Or even cornwall, yeh cornwall go there.
