This seems to confirm that few people in the UK give a toss...

Which is nice...

I'm stunned how many people believe the media. I'm sure if this had been done five years ago, the answers would be very different. It just goes to show that if you repeat the bul*s*it messages enough times, the weakminded will start to agree whilst admitting they don't have enough evidence.

I liked this bit: 26% trust David Cameron to be more effective in tackling climate change; 25% trust Gordon Brown. Over a third trust neither.

Isn't that true on almost any issue? wink

Polls are always bullst, they're commissioned to give the results desired.

If you ask people if they thought that spending $100Trillion on an scientifically unsound project that would have a massive and everlasting detrimental effect on the quality of their lives was be a good idea they'd all say no.

The average spod in the street thinks that driving a Prius and having a green wheelie bin is all the eco nuts require to avoid the 'problem', they'll soon come round when their bills quadruple, and all their jobs have been outsourced to China.

Yet ask them if they actually have a clue about the science or data, and most will say NO......

ASk them if they will be wiling to

1. No longer travel abroad
2. Pay 500% tax on electricity and gas

Again, most will say no.

Bumped into an elderly bible basher yesterday...

Seems the planet didn't evolve, it was created by the Lord and global warming was started by four horsemen to give us the means to destroy the planet...

Good job MORI didn't ask her...hehe

Normally I'd agree, but is 56% of those surveyed as non believers a result they would want?
