Hotels in Brighton?

Need some help, I have a meeting in Brighton in a couple of weeks at 8.40am, driving down isn't an option and was wondering if anyone can recommend a hotel close to the station if possible. Don't particularly want to stay in a crummy b and b, looking at about 50 pound a night.
