Where would you put the gas bottle. If you put it in the boot then you will have nowhere to stow the roof.

Good point.. I've been working slowly on a collapsable roof, (well, I have an idea, made it up with mechano, moved house and haven't seen it since..). The plan was more for a lightweight touring roof, but I suppose you could ude it to free up space for other reasons..

Mind you, I prefer the smell of petrol than cabbages, so don't think I'll be doing the conversion just yet..
