I would be interested in what it costs to do all this work too.

Anybody done this?

here's my retrim etc, Looking at

£100 for Alcantara rooflining and extras
£200 on carbon for door cards
£300 for carbon rear shelf and helmet holder
£5-600 for either Tuscan or T350 seats
£80 for leather dye to change my colour from dark blue to black
£20 for VHT glue
£300 for carpet

Doing it all myself, i retrimmed my Escort cosworth a few years ago and I was very happy with the result, just had to get someone to help with stitching etc. You'll be amazed how easy the interior all comes apart too.

Good luck!

Well we've seen the before. How about some of the finished job wink

I would want mine in full leather (2 colours). This is a job I would pay an expert to do.

PS: Carbon fibre is a light weight strong material that you cover with paint IMO.

Yeh, I can see where you're coming from, but I really like all these "new skool" Supercars out there at the mo that combine leather etc with race car details (alcantara and Carbon) Supperleggera Lambos, GT3's and F430 Scuderias (which I've been in!) If you want a luxury car buy a M5.
Although it would be nice to pay an expert I enjoy spending time, when I get it, in my garage taking toys apart. I'll post the pics up as I go.

Cheers
