NISMO Club Sport Package For GT-R
NISMO pack improves handling and saves weight
Nissan’s official performance division, NISMO, has released a new range of official accessories for the GT-R under the name ‘Club Sport Package’. The in-house tuner is offering stiffer front (18.5kg/mm) and rear springs (9.6kg/mm) and a set of race-spec Bilstein Damptronic adjustable dampers.
You also get new 20-inch Rays forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Bridgestone RE070R run-flat tyres, sized 225/40 and 285/35, front and rear. To save off some weight NISMO has created a lightweight exhaust system that comes with a carbon fibre under-tray. Not only does it reduce drag but it will knock 5kg from the GT-R’s overall weight. Inside there are carbon fibre backed bucket seats, which shave off an extra 6kg
For the time being the mods are only available in Japan.
Discussion
If the car can be 'improved' upon so soon after release what was Nissan doing for so many years refining and honing the original for? Did they forget about the suspension and wheels? They've gone to great lengths in making the car so complete with it's apparently uncrackable ecu to ward of aftermarket tuners and then they release a bolt-on tuner pack before the car even hits the UK?
Great Car!
but i think mines do all the mods you'd ever want even the speed limit...
check them out http://www.mines-wave.com/
and at a better price...

The key detail missing here is the price... For the whole package it's over £25,000!
That is not a typo either, I cannot recall the exact price but it is over 5mil Yen!
Edit: 5,465,000 Yen so that's £28k

Fashion victim levels!
No mention of tweaking anything for any other reason, than "the just have"
Tuners are so lame. Either explain why you changed it, properly, properly properly, or don't bloody bother!

Poor effort.
This:

Looks awful compared to this:

The wheels look tiny, and the exhausts look rubbish.
I'll take the exhaust system and suspension mods (if they work), but not the other tat...
But at the end of the day its the best of a bad bunch, as neither look especially good. This:

I'd get a BMW M3 if I had the dosh.
What we want, is 1000bhp & no speed limiter, there was perhaps no point in suspension tweaks as we already know it is pretty much one of the best handling cars of the last 30 years (behind a few Lotus' though, but it was developed by Lotus so it is goood!) so "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"

The lower pic is much better than the top one

t. Makes it look tiny compared to the standard 20".
Wonder if the rear seats fold down?
