I'm thinking of getting a GP for my next car after 4 and a half years in an Audi TT roadster (150bhp).
I have seen one advertised on the net for £15,950 with only 1,900 miles on the clock. This seems seriously cheaper than any others I've seen, given the low mileage. Does it sound too cheap? You know the old saying...if something seems too good to be true, it probably isscratchchin

I test drove one at Wakefield Mini yesterday (£17,995 with 8,000 on clock) and it felt really good - loved the seats, bags of room in the back for luggage with the seats gone, and then there's that crack and pop from the exhaustnuts

...by the way, what does 'on the over-run' mean?

I think I owe it to my finances to check out the first one...the only downside is it's 166 miles from me.

Credit crunch etc means all cars values seems to be dropping frown

All Cooper S mini's pop and bang...lovely sounding smile Even the new turbo charged ones.

If concerned get a RAC etc inspection done on the car.

Get it! I remember this time last year, you couldnt get a GP for under 20k!

Be prepared to travel - they are pretty rare! smile

it's probably just priced to sell.

and lets face it they do have a limited market: wink red mirrors, daft 'wing' daft bumoers, only 2 seats... wink

£16k sounds like they want to sell it, a bit on the cheaper side but then again a bird in the hand...

I think i'd have a crack at getting some £££ off the one at wakefield, at least see what kind of a deal they're prepared to do. Although 2k is a substantial saving.

I bought my s from them and had a few issues with it, all sorted under the cherished scheme with zero hassle, top work.

I spotted the gp when i called in the other week. I almost almost thought of having a nosey round it. That and the new JCW.

Both the £15,950 and Wakefield GP are now sold...but...went up to Aberdeen Mini and have bagged one there for £16,995 with 5,000 on the clock! Well pleased. Pick it up next week.biggrin
