Rusty wheel nuts & calipers

Car is a 56 plate 1 series.

I know it's a minor thing, but on a car so young (and just being bought as a AUC with 1 year warranty on top of remaining base warranty) - it just looks a bit odd.

The rest of the car looks great, but several people have commented on it - not just obsessive detailing types.

The dealership said fine no problem we will replace the nuts, when the parts arrived they said sure it will be £80 - but these wheel nuts will just rust after 4 months too.

Is caliper rusting a known issue? I guess it's just an aesthetic issue rather than anything more sinister.

Any comments?

Its a problem too many BMW's suffer. Give the guys at Phoenix Motorsport (BMW aftermarket engineering organisation) a shout, they are based in Camberley Surrey and will do wonders to you calipers and associated parts for very reasonable money.
